Dan Poynter has done it again by creating another brilliant opportunity for authors. Entries are now being accepted for the Global Ebook Awards, and there are plenty of categories to choose from.
I can tell you from experience that winning an award for your book has many benefits. If your book is selected as a finalist, the awards program will bring some great exposure for your title. If it wins, you get even more exposure and best of all you immediately get to claim the title of “award-winning author.” And that is pretty fabulous in itself!
The deadline to enter your ebook is April 30, 2012. I recently saw Dan at a writer’s conference where we were both speaking and he told me they have over 100 judges for the ebook awards, which means every ebook will get read and get the attention it deserves! Check out the Global eBook Awards here.
I’ve already entered my Korean War novel, War Remains into this year’s competition. It is important for indie writers to promote their books in any way possible and the Global eBook Awards is a great way to have one’s book get a little more exposure.
Dan Poynter’s monthly newsletter has always been full of helpful ideas on publishing, marketing and promoting a book. He keeps pace with technology and shares his knowledge with others. I submitted the e-book version of my book, The Immigrants’ Daughter, and have been notified that it has been accepted into nomination by the Global e-Book Awards. I know I will benefit from my action, whatever the outcome of the contest may be.
